I want to think outside the box. I really do. But when I look at this expanse of promise and nothingness, inspiration beckons from the pages backward. And there is my legacy staring back at me. Passions faded. Plans unfulfilled. And a desire for expression that seems to have outgrown it's means.

What will I do? Will the need to express ever trump the lethargy? And what of the result? Will I love it?

I expect it to accuse me. Coward! Sloth! Copycat! Cheater! Derelict! Juvenile! Bore!

I have no defense. But I do have reason. It is not the art that accuses. It is something larger; something that is invisibly real. Pay no heed; it is the Accuser, common to every man, pointing a bony finger at that we dare to dream, imagine, love, and cherish, proclaiming in a voice that shakes the Earth with the authority of ages:

Perhaps. But for those who dare to think of things that are not as if they were, they have the power to make believers of us all.

That's who I want to be.

Not that I had anything important to say. But I get this feeling that things in general are gonna be all right.

My 1K hit pic was inked and ready to color somewhere back around 950 hits, but I set it aside as I was letting the task of computer coloring intimidate me. (Plus, I wasn't 100% happy with the pic. [Also, I'm spending more spare time with the camera. {Yay for nested brackets!}]) I think I'll just post it in B&W and come back and color it someday.

I had an epiphany today.

In other news, the lineart for the 1K pic is done. Coloring commences immediately, with the goal of postment by the end of immediately.

I also got CSS! Yay green!

Speaking of colors, try to guess what I'm thinking of.

I'll give you a clue. I'm thinking of something orange.
